RCM Utilities was selected by the City of Minneola to deliver a major potable water infrastructure expansion designed to meet the demands of one of Central Florida’s fastest-growing communities. As Minneola experiences rapid residential and commercial growth, this project significantly increases the city’s ability to provide reliable, safe drinking water to residents and businesses.

Upon completion, the upgrades doubled the city’s potable water storage and pumping capacity, ensuring the infrastructure keeps pace with current and future needs.

The scope included the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of critical infrastructure improvements, consisting of the following principal items:

  • 500,000-Gallon Prestressed Concrete Ground Storage Tank – Expands potable water storage capacity to better serve the growing community

  • Two (2) 200 HP Vertical Turbine High-Service Pumps – Each equipped with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) for efficient, demand-responsive operation

  • Associated Piping, Valves, and Appurtenances – Ensures seamless integration with existing systems and operational reliability

  • Electrical & Control Connections – Upgrading power and automation systems to improve operational monitoring and control

  • Site Work & Civil Improvements – Preparing and enhancing the surrounding infrastructure to support new facilities
