Lift Station 5 Rehabilitation - The Villages, FL
Project Description
RCM Utilities recently completed a Lift Station Rehabilitation project, providing all necessary materials, equipment, and labor. The project involved:
- Extensive excavation for a temporary pump-off connection.
- Installation of a permanent isolation plug valve.
- A duplex diesel bypass pumping system.
The scope included demolishing and removing existing components and setting a new precast concrete top slab with an aluminum hatch cover. The concrete wet well substrate was prepared with high-pressure hydro blasting before installing a SEWPERCOAT wet well lining system. In addition the electrical service for the lift station was updated. RCM Utilities successfully completed the Lift Station Rehabilitation, delivering a fully upgraded and efficient system.
